Tomorrow is a day to look forward to. I 'll have my final interview @ Mano Amiga Academy. I will have to go directly to the director of MMA. There was no mention of things to bring but myself. I am happy. Why? Because this is the promise of GOD. He talked to me. I heard him. I was patient enough to wait for this.
I haven't mentioned to any friends nor to my parents. I want to surprise them. They know how much I want to work in the foundation and they know that this is the calling of God to me.
He tested my patience and tested my trust in Him. I did not fail HIM. Perhaps I can say that I am the happiest person in the world now.
Lord, I lift to you everything that I am and everything that I have. Give me wisdom, guidance, determination, strengthened faith, and love to all my brothers and sisters in the world. Let me see them as someone equal as me or more important. Allow me to be of your service Lord.

Pagpag project
My batchmate has a project. It's project pagpag or feeding program. She assigned me to be one of the coordinators for this project. I was hoping I would just be a silent worker but apparently I will be in charge of the collection of money here in the Philippines. I volunteered to have her use my kabayan account but that's up to her. I haven't given my account number though.
Well, this is an exciting project as we are wanting to help this people to have a decent food to eat. We are targetting people from Payatas. July is the target date.
We are hoping that we will be able to come up with funds so we could feed a lot of people.

Wish
I wish that the dela Cruz clan will be reunited. If only love will come first instead of pride. I wish humiliation will be avoided in future. I wish we will all be reunited and be close to each other again.
The roots of the conflict may not be known to all. But we know the truth. Please avoid saying something against each other as it will just add damage to the existing problem.
I'm just happy that some cousins are making our relationship better. I wish that the old man will learn to forgive his children so that all the wounds will soon be healed and all of us will be reunited.

This struck me MOST - From DEATH TO LIFE
This struck me most!
Ephesians 2:1-10
In the past you were spiritually dead because of your disobedience and sins. At that time you followed the world's evil way; you obeyed the ruler of the spiritual powers in space, the spirit who now controls the people who disobey God. Actually all of us were like them and lived according to our natural desires, doing whatever suited the wishes of our own bodies and minds. In our natural condition we, like everyone else, were destined to suffesr God's anger.
But God's mercy is so abundant, and his love for us is so great, that while we were spiritually dead in our disobedience he brought us to life with Christ. It is by God's grace that you have been saved. In our union with Christ Jesus he raised us up with him to rule with him in the heavenly world. He did this to demonstrate for all time to come the extraordinary greatness of his grace in the love he showed us in Christ Jesus. For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith. I've got some interesting passages that I have written in my wallet and serve as my guide as I take my journey in life. I got them from the bible. I took note of them as they hit me big time and I feel that it would be a great thing to keep em in my wallet. Here they are:

Now what?
I was jogging this morning and I was furious and coughing at the same time. Why? I've passed through houses where dry leaves are being burned. Shoot. I understand you have tall tree with lots of leaves but we should also care about the community. Have we not read the ordinance about not burning garbages, leaves and other stuff to save mother earth? I am not perfect and I am not a member of Save the Earth movement but I care about the health of the community. I do my share to help in keeping our place clean.
Perhaps not everyone is aware. But THAT IS NOT AN EXCUSE! Ignorance of law shouldn't be tolerated. Now, what should we do? I can't be talking to each one of them to explain that their action is not acceptable. I can't even approach them to inform them that what they're doing isn't allowed. They don't even know me.
It really made me feel so upset first thing in the morning. But of course I didn't let it ruin my day. I just moved on and wished that the fire would die down once I pass that area again. I also prayed that I may have patience and tolerance for the thick smoke that freaked me out. I was heard. The fire died down when I passed that same area again. I was happy and continued to jog around the place.
Reality check, a lot of people are not aware of certain laws being created and implemented or are they even implemented?
I know two laws that are very important for our environment and for the community : Burning of garbages isn't allowed and no to smoking in public vehicles. But what? Are these laws being IMPLEMENTED? A lot are victims of second hand smoking and these people who smoke just DON'T CARE. They just want to puff and deliberately damage their own lungs and OTHERS' lungs. Have mercy! I care about my health and if you don't then please find a way to protect our lungs AT LEAST. I was happy to learn about these two laws but I hope these politicians would learn to implement them.

Sitti -Bossa Nova Queen in the Philippines.
I was fascinated of Sitti's voice the first time I heard her voice in a music shop. It's not powerful. It's relaxing. It gives you a soothing feeling when you listen to her music(parang nagpa spa ka na rin hahaha). But I prefer watching her while listening to her music. Darn she's gorgeous and very charming. I understand she's very down to earth and humble. I always look forward to hear her sing at ASAP Sessionistas. She tries songs that are not expected to hear from her. Quite a surprise and entertaining. I would love to watch her in one of her small concerts. She's someone you'd like to watch up close and personal.
Aiza Seguerra - Acoustic artist
I was amazed how she captured the hearts of her listener. She's got a very tranquilizing voice. A gift. I saw her before at UST. She's very down to Earth. She didn't want special treatment paying her tuition fee. I saw her lining up and didn't even bother to make a scene while waiting. She was just talking softly to her friend. Admirable. Her voice, like Sitti, she's got a very soothing voice and yes it gets boring as time goes by. I would love to watch her with her fellow singers in a concert.

Why do I like this foreigner? I love her songs. If you try to listen to her songs they cap the realities in life. No holds bar. No pretentions. Although her videos are inappropriate for younger generation, they are metaphor of the songs' message. She also has a weird style of dressing up. Perhaps it's not common that's why we call it weird but that's her style and I love it. A lot love it! I wish to meet and greet her. If she'll have her concert in the country, I'll try to watch it but if the ticket is too expensive nevermind. hahaha! I'd rather buy an expensive ticket for a fundraising concert than to watch a favorite artist =)

Another out of the box artist. She dresses up like a total alien for most of us. She is often labeled as crazy but people can be different. They may not be acceptable for us but we just have to accept and respect the differences. Her videos are remarkable and usually tagged for adults only. I was just imagining how her usual day like? Is she wearing unique outfits even at home? seriously it makes me think. =D
I am not sure if I would want to watch a concert of Lady Gaga. It would be crazy for sure. Sountrippin would be good enough.
These are just few artists I love to listen to. I am a very extreme person. One day you'll hear me sing romantic songs later you'll hear me sing danceable music then hard rock.
I used to think that whatever tops the chart is the music to listen to. I have learned upon growing up that Music is still a choice. Not everyone will like what you want. Not everyone would love to listen same music. Not everyone will understand your type of Music but who cares? As long as you're not hurting anyone or stepping on somebody's feelings. I wish all of us would be respectful of the choices we make in life and so as music.
Just make a choice, explain your wants if people ask you but avoid saying something sour about their type of music. Yes you have the right to express yourself but realize that you don't want to hurt their feelings? =)

Simplicity
We had an awesome dinner at my Nana benita's place. Actually they are currently living in my other aunt's property as their house is being built.
Kuya Randy, my cousin cooked ginisang kangkong and kalabasa. It doesn't have any meat or fish in it. just plain vegetables. I still of course had lil amount of rice and lots of veggies and fried tilapia.
I was wondering how my cousin made it taste as if it has meat/fish in it. I supposed it's because of the freshness of the veggies and the natural sweetness of kalabasa. I must admit it was a very healthy dinner.
It was fun to be back in the ancestral house of my grandparents. I got to see my nephews/nieces and of course my loving cousins.
My cousin also prepared fresh harvested mangoes. What else could I ask for? Nadah! I was contented and really full. Then a text from another cousin came in requesting us to go back to their place.
And so we left my aunt's place after dinner. Yes eat and go. hehe.. That's what we do all the time. As we need to go to different houses so we have to have that kind of visitation. We then headed to my other cousin's house, ka Emmie's house. We literally dropped by just to get the Butchi that she got for us. Two boxes haha and ate 'em while heading home. Delicious as always, freshly cooked and soft and chewy.
It's always fun seeing relatives, which happens once in a blue moon. I wish my other cousin would visit us in Muntinlupa.
I also wish that my uncle would end the war between his children and my other cousins.
I wish we'll have reunion. de la cruz Reunion.

I wonder
Twitter, Facebook, Friendster, HI5 etc..these are just samples of community websites. You get to express your thoughts through these sites. We get to update our friends, followers and relatives about our whereabouts or our thoughts on some matter. It's the best way of communication especially if you're away from your loved ones.
It's a great wonder how powerful our words are to people who believe in us. It's pretty astonishing how this can reach people without much effort. Just words. I remember how Rizal sizzled the emotions of Filipinos during the time of the Spaniards. He didn't use gun, just words. But he used a published book to do so. If community websites were already available then perhaps Spaniards won't colonize us for 300+ years. Hehe
Posting, tweeting is such a fun thing to do. Your friends get to react, you get to share thoughts, in short perfect way of interaction. Imagine having an interaction with your favorite celebrity? or your crush...FUN! But when does our post become WRONG. I myself, never believed that there's such thing as WRONG posts. We all have the right to express ourselves but it entails responsibility.
We should be aware of what we're posting or better yet think about it first. You should be responsible enough to face all the consequences of your actions.
Say you post just because you want to say something. No problem. But if that back fires you don't get mad at people who are trying to criticize you. Remember you published it, it means you're allowing people to read, react and to criticize you in anyway they want.
Now, with so many people saying they have lost their right to post/tweet I just want you to know that nobody is stopping you from posting your thoughts. You just have to be responsible. What is being responsible? Think twice before you post it. Make sure you can stand firm to what you think is right. Avoid hateful words that could lead to spasm conversation. Most of all don't be sarcastic. Whether you're reacting or posting, remember to be calm and objective in anything you do.
Again, let your mind speak up. Let your thoughts be heard and be responsible. Happy WWWdot!

My big J
No job.Been idle for two months.Been single for four months.
But guess what A LOT of wonderful things happened and are still happening during my jobless days.
Everyday, I wake up with a smile on my face and my heart feels the happiness that i have.Something that i don't just process, nor dictate to my mind.It comes from within. It's my first time to have fallen in love with Big J and His omnipotent Father. My heart is filled with Love that is everlasting. It is my first time to finally listen closely to His words. It is my first time to put into practise every learning that i get to read from His book. I used to just pray for peace of mind i didn't know that by reading His words would give me the peace that I have always wanted. I found refuge in Him. He is my comfort. He is my guide. He is my only God. Upon reading His words I found myself reflecting and realized the mistakes I've done and the pain I have inflicted to others. I have learned to humble myself, admit these mistakes, asked forgiveness, forgave myself and offered myself to God. The tears I have while creating tis note symbolize the resurrection I got from Him. That's why from the day I offered myself to God, there was no such thing as impossible. I don't even worry about anything. Not that I don't care anymore, but I just know He knows better than me. I just do my best in anything I do and I know He'll do the rest and will give me the best.
May each one of us see the Lord in the eyes of the people in our community. May we realize our purpose and experience God's love. It's another blessing for me to be able to write something in my notes without having any hesitations of publishing it. That in everything we do God may be Glorified! ORA et labora.

The story of Us
Gustung gusto ko 'yung pelikula na The Story of Us. Dito pinakita kung gano natin tinitignan ang sarili lang nating side sa isang relasyon.
'Di natin makita ni ma appreciate ang nagawa, ginawa, ginagawa ng ating karelasyon kapag nagkaron na ng matinding away. Di natin sinusubukang maghukay kung bakit at kung saan nagsimula ang awayan. Laging nagawa ko to.
