Sitti -Bossa Nova Queen in the Philippines.

I was fascinated of Sitti's voice the first time I heard her voice in a music shop. It's not powerful. It's relaxing. It gives you a soothing feeling when you listen to her music(parang nagpa spa ka na rin hahaha). But I prefer watching her while listening to her music. Darn she's gorgeous and very charming. I understand she's very down to earth and humble. I always look forward to hear her sing at ASAP Sessionistas. She tries songs that are not expected to hear from her. Quite a surprise and entertaining. I would love to watch her in one of her small concerts. She's someone you'd like to watch up close and personal.

Aiza Seguerra - Acoustic artist

I was amazed how she captured the hearts of her listener. She's got a very tranquilizing voice. A gift. I saw her before at UST. She's very down to Earth. She didn't want special treatment paying her tuition fee. I saw her lining up and didn't even bother to make a scene while waiting. She was just talking softly to her friend. Admirable. Her voice, like Sitti, she's got a very soothing voice and yes it gets boring as time goes by. I would love to watch her with her fellow singers in a concert.

Why do I like this foreigner? I love her songs. If you try to listen to her songs they cap the realities in life. No holds bar. No pretentions. Although her videos are inappropriate for younger generation, they are metaphor of the songs' message. She also has a weird style of dressing up. Perhaps it's not common that's why we call it weird but that's her style and I love it. A lot love it! I wish to meet and greet her. If she'll have her concert in the country, I'll try to watch it but if the ticket is too expensive nevermind. hahaha! I'd rather buy an expensive ticket for a fundraising concert than to watch a favorite artist =)

Lady Gaga

Another out of the box artist. She dresses up like a total alien for most of us. She is often labeled as crazy but people can be different. They may not be acceptable for us but we just have to accept and respect the differences. Her videos are remarkable and usually tagged for adults only. I was just imagining how her usual day like? Is she wearing unique outfits even at home? seriously it makes me think. =D
I am not sure if I would want to watch a concert of Lady Gaga. It would be crazy for sure. Sountrippin would be good enough.

These are just few artists I love to listen to. I am a very extreme person. One day you'll hear me sing romantic songs later you'll hear me sing danceable music then hard rock.

I used to think that whatever tops the chart is the music to listen to. I have learned upon growing up that Music is still a choice. Not everyone will like what you want. Not everyone would love to listen same music. Not everyone will understand your type of Music but who cares? As long as you're not hurting anyone or stepping on somebody's feelings. I wish all of us would be respectful of the choices we make in life and so as music.

Just make a choice, explain your wants if people ask you but avoid saying something sour about their type of music. Yes you have the right to express yourself but realize that you don't want to hurt their feelings? =)
